"Notes from a Bottle" Ambiguity Graphic Organizer
DAY 1: March 13, 2010 (Friday - 8:10p.m.)
Where are you?
I am in Boys Three right now, sitting on my roommate’s desk, and I’m glaring out the window.
What are you doing?
My forehead is against the window, I still remember how cold it was and how everytime I took a breath it would make a little cloud of fog. And as I’m sitting on my roommate's desk we are talking and discussing all the “what ifs” that might occur, but most of the time I was ignoring him and just thinking.
What is happening?
At the moment it is raining super hard. The hardest I’ve ever seen before in my life. The administrators put the whole campus on lock down.
How do you feel?
I am a bit nervous because I have never been in this sort of situation. I was also curious because I wasn’t exactly sure what was going on.
What are you thinking?
I was sitting there thinking of all the worse scenarios that were possible and wondering what was about to happen. Then I was instantly scared after thinking about my family and how they were doing.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DAY 2: March 14, 2010 (Saturday - 7:13a.m.)
Where are you?
I was still at boys three, in my room, and sleeping peacefully in my bed.
What are you doing?
I just woke up due to the immense noise coming from the siren right above my bed. Thinking it was just a regular morning test, I laid down in my soft blankets for the last time. The staff barged in almost scolding my house, telling us to evacuate. I threw on some shorts and a jacket and went to the living room to smell the aroma of rain. We asked the staff what was going on and the staff replied saying it was because the weather was so violent. Everyone had to meet in in the gym, and I remember seeing all twelve S.P.A cars lined up against the curb. Our daily meals were brought to us, and we all ended up s;eeping on the gym floor that night. I rememeber that night overhearing two staff talk, and one was crying. I could only catch a glimpse of what they were saying, but the only three words I could hear over the sobs were: QUIT, FLOOD, and DIE.
What is happening?
That day Tia repeated what the staff said and also stated that the news mentioned something about something was coming, before the connection was drained out by the rain. So, S.P.A. is just taking safety precautions.
How do you feel?
I feel as if this situation might be a little more serious than the staff explained. I am starting to get a little scared but I am mostly concerned about my family. My siblings in particular.
What are you thinking?
A thousand thoughts must of crossed my mind that day, thoughts that include many questions and many suggestions. But none that I would make me feel just a bit safe. If anything a bit scared more and more each time.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DAY 3: March 15, 2010 (Sunday – 6:46p.m.)
Where are you?
I was still as S.P.A., but this time I was first at the gym, at my house, and then rushed into a car.
What are you doing?
The day was going strangely normal, then Tia walked in the gym (it was more of a rush-walk or run), but no matter she still barged in. She announced that the weather was getting too violent and too excessive to stay here. She then dismissed us to our houses to retrieve anything that was important to us or any other necessity needed. I went home and everybody was mumbling and discussing the situation with one another. I couldn’t stop thinking at the moment , but I still ran home to retrieve my things. The only things I brought was my money, my pictures, and a couple outfits. The staff said if we didn’t hurry up we would be put on a later transport. The rain was really heavy at this point. As I ran outside I felt my legs getting soaked. I looked down to see the rain building up to my ankles. I was shocked so I kept running. I was rushed in a van along with nine other people. The rain level was immensely creasing. I have never seen rain drop & build so fast. By the time got in the car the rain was up to the tires. We pulled out of the driveway and drove to the main street very slowly. Then just stood there, stuck. The staff told us to get out, but we couldn’t because the water was now blocking the doors. My friend let me use his phone and I called my brothers. They said they were in L.A.,with my sister, but they are watching the news and they know what was happening.
What is happening?
They told me it was...They said it was.. It... I couldn’t make out what they were saying and then just as the signal was back I heard, “I...ove...you!” As soon as I heard that they window bust open rushing water in the car, but leaving a hole to escape from.
How do you feel?
I have came over the feeling of being worried for my family because I know they are safe. I am still scared.
What are you thinking?
Though I want to live to see them all again, I am not afraid to die. I see the window open, and say I love you and I’ll talk to you later. Well at least I was hoping I would. I hung up, and my first instinct was to aim for the window.

SPA Movie & Games Day Paragraph
When I arrived at school on Friday, I expected to do work, but instead we had a fun day. The next time a fun school day is planned, we should all agree on the events, though they were all fun. That Friday, we all watched a movie, played sports, and then had a cupcake eating contest. Fun days are beneficial to students, because sometimes students need a break. They need sometime to re-cooperate and relax instead of being stressed 24/7. I am glad San Pasqual Academy applies these days for the kids and I hope they continue to do so.

What I Learned in English 10 Second Quarter
This quarter I have learned many things to enhance my English, but the main area that I have noticed an advance in is in my writing. From a persuasive essay to a narrative essay I see myself excelling due to the great teaching of Mrs. Priester during second quarter. I have also learned many key concepts of English. For example, ambiguity, point of view, etc. We haven't used a single piece of paper for assignments which helped me in the area of technology. I am an expert at blogging, and I am a whole lot better with the internet. That's a broad example of everything I've learned this quarter and I'm glad I'm in this class.

Shop 'til You Drop Extra Credit
Fortunately I was able to go to Shop ‘Till You Drop, due to the fact that there was not enough transportation to take the whole basketball team. When I first walked in I was joyfully welcomed, and then happily guided throughout the auditorium. We all were given new I-pods, which I am very thankful for. At this event there was a photo booth were each group can take four pictures. I took pictures with two different groups. The second group it was Shaurice, Jacinta, and I. We went in and ended up taking three different sets of pictures. This year Shop ‘Till You Drop was very fun I am very grateful to the Friends of San Pasqual.
"Lamb to the Slaughter" - I'm the Detective
If I was a detective investigating the murder of Patrick Maloney in “Lamb to the Slaughter” by Roald Dahl, I would have first observed the gash on his head to determine what kind of weapon was used. After, I would do a thorough search around the whole house and collect any objects that may have been used to kill Mr. Maloney. I would make sure everyone else evacuates the premises so no one can move, touch, or affect any items in any way. So, if I was the detective nobody would be drinking or eating, especially at the crime scene. I would have been a great detective and I would have found the weapon based on the evidence and had Mrs. Maloney sent to jail.

"Lamb to the Slaughter" Mary's Giggling .
At the end of “Lamb to the Slaughter” by Roald Dahl, Mary Maloney begins giggling because she overheard the men talking and ironically one of the men stated that the weapon is probably right under their nose. And this is only ironic because the weapon used to kill her husband was the dinner the men were eating and that was also right under their nose. Mary, also laughed because she that it was humorous that these men did not and would not catch her. She played it off so well, even the book stated that she acted as if she really didn’t know he was dead, and that she didn’t kill him. After the police leave the house, I predict Mary will think about it for a while, laugh, and then find another man to love and murder.

Situational Irony in My Life
Since I was a little kid I have lived with my brothers. My brothers and I both agreed that we would never split up and we would always stay together, and we always kept that promise until one day. On that day C.P.S. took my brothers and me away and separated some of us. And other than all the times the system has separated us we tried and tried to stay together. Then, once again we were all together again. Except this time we were all young adults and we all needed different environments to survive our teenage lives and to move on as adults. These situations may cause us to separate, but this time it was by a decision. Our decisions based on our life necessities. So, rather than sticking together as much as possible, the situational irony was that we chose to split up to succeed in life as needed.

First Persuasive Paragraph
Students should not be allowed to play sports with low grades. Education is important to sculpt a student's future. And if they want to play sports then they would either be really good and go straight to professional or they need to go to a college. To go to a college a student may not only be a great sports player but also great in academics. So, this shows without achieving in academics sports is almost out of the picture. Also, more of a moral goal, that a student with low grades may sometimes not deserve to play when others work hard to play.

"The Bass, the River, and Sheila Mant" and "Catch the Moon" Theme Comparison Essay
“The Bass, the River, and Sheila Mant” the main character is the narrator. The main conflict in the story is the fish that the narrator caught and the reason why he let it go. The resolution was to continue fishing, to quit liking Sheila, and to move on being himself and not changing for anyone else. The main character changes his hobbies, goals, and motivations just because of a girl. For example, in the book the two characters were on a date and they were sailing to a carnival. The narrator threw a line out to catch a fish while they were sailing, and out of embarrassment and trying to fit in with her he cut the line to one of the biggest fish he’d ever caught. Similar to the second book the theme are people regret sacrificing valuables in order to impress people. Especially if it’s to do something negative in your life.
In “Catch the Moon” the main character is Luis Cintron. The main conflict of the story was that Luis had to find a hubcap for this girl that he thought hated him, and he wanted to change that and make her like him. This is only so because he liked her. The conflict was resolved by Luis finding the hubcap, polishing it as much as possible, then at midnight delivering it to Naomi’s window. For example, in the story he stated that “ ..he waited to give to her the first good thing that he had given anyone in a long time.” This shows that he is obviously doing something different than usual. But by doing so means that he is changing and the only reason why he is changing is because of Naomi, all because he wants her to like him. So, like the first book the theme is people regret sacrificing valuables in order to impress people. Except this time it was to change him from a hooligan to a gentleman.
“The Bass, The River, and Sheila Mant” and “Catch the Moon” have very similar themes. This is so because in each book a character changes in response to another character. Each main character in every book, like an individual in real life, gets influenced and changes to impress their peers or just to fit in. This act is wrong. People should be themselves and no one should change that. The main character of each story did, regardless if it was for a good or bad cause.

“Catch the Moon” Grief Paragraph
The change Luis experiences after he address the grief he feels for his mother’s death is believable. For example, Luis probably felt lonely and this is why he joined a crew. The crew might of made him feel like he was apart of something and influenced him negatively. In real life, this seems very reasonable and logical. By dealing with grief, people are able to change easily based on their deep and lost emotions. They are more vulnerable to temptations and being pressured into things. Things that can be either negative or positive and unfortunately for Luis is was negative.

“’The Bass, the River, and Shelia Mant’ Airhead Stereotype.”
Sheila Mant is very beautiful. Though she is beautiful she is an airhead, another words she is kind of slow. For example, in the book when she expresses herself she speaks as if she has no or very little education. Another example would be that when she went to the concert with the narrator she left with someone else just because of his nice car. An example why she is smart is the fact she has multiple boys trying to talk to her. This evidence shows that Sheila is smart, but also an airhead.

Sheila, The Bass, The River, and Sheila Mant
In the the book "The Bass, The River, and Sheila Mant," the narrator faces both external and internal conflicts. His external conflict is mainly to get Sheila to agree to go on a date with him. He finally resolved that problem by sweet-talking her into it. The narrator has a few internal conflicts, but his main one is his stupid decision of letting a fish go just to fit in with his date and her expectations. He solved this conflict partially by letting go of his crush on Sheila. The only problem that wasn't resolved was the fact that he'll never catch a fish so big as the one he let loose. Though it sound like everything is settled and calm the author puts a twist on the ending explaining how he will never forget the stupid decision he made.

"Catch the Moon" Falling in Love
Falling in love can change one's life forever. Despite of their surroundings, it can change their behavior, mood, personality, and even actions. For example, I don't remember the time I've seen a heartbroken girl go and play hop scotch as a normal happy girl would. Your mood affects your actions, and your actions determine who you are. So, if a human falls in love then yes they are changed, but only until someone can fill the hole that's burning inside. Some people even say they don't believe in love, which is idiotic because it's a natural thing that someone or something needs to be complete. Once you have experienced love it will feel almost as a drug would because the speechless crave inside that's so unexplainable bothers the incomplete person until they find the spouse they actually love. Only because love is not a feeling, a feeling can be described, and real love can not.

Halloween Memory in Third-Person
October 31, 2007 Jojo decided to go trick or treating with his friends. They knocked on almost every door possible and they were having a great time. As they were walking Jojo decided to go to a house as his friends kept walking, so he went alone. Then, as Jojo was catching up to them he saw two strangers with masks run up to his friends, grabbed one by his neck, and the other took my friend's bag. Jojo was scared and adrenalin rushed through his body. He raced towards them, but then the one who grabbed my friend took off his mask and smiled. It was Jojo's best friend! And the other one was his brother. Jojo really thought he was about to get into a fight, but it was all just a joke. After the little incident we all went trick or treating and had a ahappy halloween.

“The Highwayman” and “Typhoid Fever” Comparison
These stories are very alike. The first comparison, though it’s broad, is that the poem being read in “Typhoid Fever,” is the poem “The Highway Man.” Frankie never was able to hear the end of the story because Patricia died, and in this poem the loved lady also died. Another comparison is that the men of each story are both in trouble for being with the female. Something different was the reconnection between the loves in “The Highway Man.” The little kids in “Typhoid Fever” didn’t get to see each other again. That’s how these two stories are different and alike.

“’Typhoid Fever’– Present Tense Childhood Memory.”
Almost sleeping, I'm just sitting in the car dozing off and being really bored. My stepfather was driving and my two brothers were also in the car. Daddy, or Jamal (except we aren't aloud to call him that), said he is going to take me and my brothers to see the airplanes. He said it was called LXA or something. After listening to his annoying Arab music, and almost chocking on my sour head we were finally there. And I'm walking out thinking how it was super cool hanging out with my dad and my brothers, watching big planes, and to make things better I see a McDonalds. I didn't know what my daddy ordered me, but after I found out it was a chicken sandwich. This sandwich was delicious and nutritious. I love it! After having fun, my Daddy made us go home because something about the dark, but whatever I had fun.

"The Cold Equations" from Marilyn's Point of View
Marilyn just got hired at one of the NASA spaceships as a maintenance lady. Little did everyone else know her brother, over light years away, was going to have a visit. Marilyn decided to sneak on an EDS ship to take a ride and see her brother. She missed him greatly and didn't know the risks it takes to see him. So, on the ship there's only enough fuel for a certain amount of weight. Marilyn messed that weight up and it's either she's dead or her and the pilot is dead. Marilyn only realized the real situation when she talked to her brother. She cried and said goodbye for the last time.

“The Storyteller” from Another Point of View.”
So, we've been on this bus, train thing for a while and I'm started to get really bored, but very curious. Not to mention, I am super hyper because the huge chocolate bar I just ate. There are so many things I haven't seen before that amaze me. For example, the cows are so awesome. I wonder if they will play catch with me, anyways that is only a one out of many interesting things that I have seen so far. I ask my mom about these things and she looks a little annoyed, but as you know curiosity kills the kitty, so I keep asking. She tells my sisters and I that we should all just sit down and and she'll tell us a story. At this point I'm excited for her story, but her stories are always boring and they all have the same point she gets across and tries to explain. Her story ended and as I said it sucked. Then, some guy was like, "That was lame," and Mommy was like, "Can you do better?" Then he did. He told this great story with a weird ending that also might of had a point too, but I didn't get it. Shoot, I just loved the story. My sisters and I were happy and when I looked over my mother seemed angry. Little did I know she was infuriated. She and the man had another little argument and I continued to act hyper and crazy, as always.

“’The Storyteller’ - Memorable Books from My Childhood.”
*2- Stuck in Neutral by Terry Trueman
3- Freckle Juice by Judy Blume
4- Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Suess
5- Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle
The book that captured my interest the most was "Stuck in Neutral" by Terry Trueman. This is so because it showed me things I've never seen before. For example, it explained the thoughts and a feelings of a kid that was paralyzed. It had me thinking and that's why it caught my attention the most.

A Nuisance in the Lunch Line
(First-Person)
I am so hungry! I woke up super late, ran to the cafe, and still didn't get to eat breakfast. So, at lunch I'm going to make sure that I am first in line. When the lunch bell rang I hurdled over my chair, ran to the cafe, and came to see that there were only three people in line. Well at least it's not that long, I thought. I went up to the serving section, only one person ahead of me now, and he decides to tie his shoe. I didn't really mind, but then he called his friend over and had this huge conversation about gummy bears and shoes. I was on the urge of slapping his dark neck and yelling out that no one cares, but I didn't. Instead Jimmy the chef did. Jimmy didn't take any B.S. and he wasn't taking this. After five extra minutes of my stomach aching and growling I had my food, and I looked down I noticed it was fish. I hate fish!
(Third-Person Omniscient)
(Third -Person Limited)
Jimmy the chef had a hard day today. He made many salads, made fish, and he heard a commotion in line. Stressfully Jimmy marched out towards the rampage. Jimmy, infuriated, dropped his heavy hand on the boy's neck and said, "No one cares!" Jimmy then kicked Harry out of the lunch line and making him go to the back of the line. Then, Jimmy saw Larry look at his food with disappointment and walk away. Jimmy thought he was a failure and could never make all these kids happy. Not really caring for it any longer he carried on through his day.

Chilean Miners Rescue
The Chilean Miners' Rescue, Pathetic. It is very good that they were all saved, though my train of thought leads to why they did it so late. And why couldn't the poor miners be rescued sooner. Sixty-nine days in a black hole must be unbearable. And just to top that off they were 2,000 feet underground. I would freak out since there was no food, drinks, or light. If I was stuck under with them I would continuously pray. My thoughts would be rushing and with all that time in my hands I might go crazy. I couldn't even imagine. I'm glad the hard working miners were saved and survived.

Autobiographical Narrative Reflection
I tried hard to get a good grade on my essay, but it was obviously still at grade level. I think I could've kept adding on, fixing it, and spending more time on it it might of been better, which I will do with my next essay. Though on this essay, I wrote from my heart and my thoughts. Anything that I could remember from that day was written on that paper. Another thing I did well on was all the details. I provided all my thoughts and concerns at the time. That last thing I did that was exceptional was my flashback and flash forward. I spent a lot of time on that paragraph. Since I'm obviously missing something that is stopping me from being above grade level, I want to know what I need that's holding me back.

My Input for Staff-Teacher Conferences (9/22)
I am doing exceptional in this class. I should be doing better, I know, but I am trying to. My grade seems a little bit low and not to my standards, but not for long. I am working hard to complete all work necessary no matter what it takes. In class I try to be a role model, though I might slip sometimes I am doing fine. That's why my citizenship grade is what it is. Mrs. Priester helps her students a lot so that is not any of my excuses, only that I am not staying on top of things, which will change.

"Two Kinds" Summary Poem
And a mother whose daughters are dead
A dad who doesn’t act fatherly and a mom who can probably see
Her only daughter as a prodigy
She wants her to be best of the rest though
Maybe even someone like Shirley Temple
The mom wanted to continue this idea, but her daughter wanted her to stop it
So she got a new haircut from a beauty college
The mom realizes and wants her to practice piano and what other people wrote
So Mr. Chong helped her learn “Pleading Child” Notes
She had a schedule of lessons to learn all the keys
Reading magazines of people she wanted to be
Then comes a talent show hopefully won with victory
Then she’s sitting on the bench little to know she going to enter misery
It’s her turn and suddenly making mistakes and the notes weren’t memorized
Almost in tears she said her good byes
Hearing babies cry
And the audience sigh
At least JingiMei tries.
Her legs shaking and getting sentimental almost in tears
Only a couple people clapping, exactly her fears
Her mom disappointed, looking over at me
Mad because even Waverly, the genius can get a trophy
Strong-willed heart wasn’t so well
Yelling at her mom and starting to rebel
A couple years later gone with the last actions of betrayal
She dropped out of capital college and went back home
Got her piano and unfortunately her mother was gone
Helping her dad pay off her bills
She took the piano and showed off her skills

"Two Kinds" Mother & Daughter Conflict
Jing-mei's mother is a mean selfish person. For example, she tries to make her daughter a famous prodigy. This shows that she is in it to win it and only for herself. This also shows that the mom failure to become a prodigy as a child. In addition, she made her daughter try, try, and try. This shows that she is stubborn, and technically if you're stubborn you are mean. This also shows that her mom has to be more sympathetic and loving. Jing-mei's mother’s actions showed her selfishness and her mean side.

“Two Kinds” In the Shoes of a Prodigy (9/22)
I would enjoy being a prodigy, and to be honest for the attention. It would feel great to be so famous over something I enjoy to do. If I was to decide to become a prodigy or if I had the gifts to be one then my family would probably want me to play a sport to make me "so big" in the community. Although my friends would probably support the idea to dance. If I picked one or another it would probably upset my family or my friends which would be one dilemma. Another downside to being a prodigy is that I would need to continuously use my time to practice and it might affect my social life. I am pretty good at time management so that wouldn't be to much of a problem, and if I had to choose between basketball or dancing I would just choose which ever one I like best. Though I am average at everything I wish I was a prodigy.

Two Kinds (9/21)
Not to brag, but I seem to be very sympathetic towards people. The worse case scenarios is when I am lazy or busy and I am asked to go out of my way to help someone. I always find myself in those predicaments, and I always follow through to help them. I remember one time I was rushing to work and a peer of mine asked me to help him find a staff. All though I was already going to be late for work I decided to help him and it ended up taking like fifteen minutes. Though it wasn't a big deal I really didn't feel like doing it, I still did. The feeling that I get is twisted and confused and has two sides to it.

Character Analysis of Trevonne Trahan (9/17)
My x-roommate Trevonne Trahan is ruthless. Others tend to think he's a bit rude and mean, but at the end of the day they are all cool with him. Trevonne doesn't really mind much of what other people think, and if an individual shared their opinion about him he wouldn't care. Trevonne is into his style and many girls like his appearance, though I'm am not saying this myself many people do. Trevonne basically blows everyone off that doesn't mean much to him. And even if they do Trevonne might share his "mean side" with them. Another main characteristic of Trevonne is his speech. He cusses a lot. He says at least one cuss word in every sentence, but as I said before he doesn't really care. It sounds like Trevonne should drop the habit about being ruthless, but overall he's a cool guy.

Thank You, M'am" Character to Person Comparison Paragraph (9/16)
The mom is a very strong character in the story. She is willing to do anything for her daughter, for example, she ran into their burning house to save her. My house parent, Mrs. Jessica, is also a strong person and I am pretty sure she would risk her life for her two year old daughter. Like the mom, Mrs. Jessica can "get her hands dirty" though she is a very adequate women. Also like Maggie's mom, Mrs. Jessica is into traditions and she will probably share them with her daughter. Mrs. Jessica is a very kind sympathetic person. Another trait that they share is the fact that they have to deal with their daughters that have special cases. Such as Mrs. Jessica's daughter has diabetes, while Maggie has been burned in a fire and has disabilities.

"Everyday Use" Plot Retelling (9/15)
A depressing night that can never escape my train of thought. It has scarred me for life, physically and mentally. As I walk to school people stare at me, whisper, and then chuckle. I was perfectly capable of learning it was just the fact that I couldn't sit in class, the same class for a year, without people staring. I haven't worn shorts since I was four, but I don't mind much. My sister that I am sinfully jealous of is beautiful and I despise her of that. She is spoiled and has no manners is what I have come to learn about Dee or Warango, whatever her name may be. My mom with the biggest heart was also in my memory as the protagonist. The memory was the night I woke up sweating with nothing but flames surrounding me. I remember as I was waking up I thought it was daylight because of the light and heat. I screamed and cried and then my flaming door swung open. I look and it's my mom full of tears running towards me. I want to run to her but I feel as if I am paralyzed, but not of pain, but shock. I felt an itch than a sting and I see my legs on fire streaming down my pajamas. My mom was running, crying, and at the same time trying to pat the flames out. She was also getting burnt since I was on fire, though I remember when I got out side the nice breeze. I glanced up and see my mom tearing some of my skin of hers. We are safe along with my sister who was almost grinning at the fact our house almost burned down. This is the memory scarring me, scarring me for life.

Everyday Use (9/14)
When I am a parent I want my kids to be happy and healthy like a carrot. As long as they don't bug like a ferret or if they have a secret and they share it. Whatever it takes no matter what conditions, even if it means special things or different traditions. Santa Claus they will meet and on Halloween they will trick or treat, I will buy them the Levi-Pampers just to make them a happy-camper. If they want to grow flowers I will buy them soil, they will get what they want as long as they aren't way too spoiled. If they don't throw a fit every Sunday they'll have a banana split and as long as their behavior is appropriate. See, I will give them any special tradition, letting them play a violin, letting them believe in the Christ within, as long as the don't commit any deadly sins, making sure that I am kissing them, no matter if they're Siamese twins, or they are identical twins, and if her clothes wear thin I won't use a safety pin, but I might even buy her animal skin. Traditional hot coco in the morning instead of water, anything for my darling son or daughter.

Character Prior Knowledge Paragraph about Tom Benecke (9/13)
Tom Benecke, the character of "Contents Of A Dead Man's Pocket," character traits are mixed and kind of don't combine correctly. Although in the beginning of the story when he denied going out with his wife to stay home and do work his character was as a hard working and dedicated person. Also, Tom shows he is dependable since he is determined to finish his work. In the middle it shows that he has courage, integrity, and responsibility when he goes out on the roof just to retrieve a single piece of paper. Then at the end it seems as if he is immature or irresponsible since he just laughs when the paper flies out the window. This is why the character's character is mixed and a bit confusing.

9/11 though I did not see impacted many people around me, along with the mother of Mackenzie. She pulled her out of school, so it might be consider a skip, and now she said it takes longer for an airplane trip. Also, Alyssa still a twelve year old angel had a mom who flipped out even though they lived in San Diego. Her mom also flipped out and home she made her stay, Alyssa didn't care at least she skipped school for one day. Now she thinks 9/11 is as bad as a scam because her brother was in the war and sent to Afghanistan. I was sad for those who died you can count on it, but those weren't the only people who had in impact out of it. Even though it was sad to see it was even worse for the families. I pray for each victim very sincere and they all get recognition every year.

Vocab. Short Story (9/9)
One question which caused tension, and I was the one who mentioned. His name was Jess, I asked if he was blessed and he replied yes. But that look on his face not of disgrace but of love, love of this place. Jess pulled out the Bible and said see this, without this life is full of grievance, and you will not be satisfied until you meet this. Confused, unsure, and not knowing what to do I took his word along with that Bible, now so should you. Now every night I pray to my Lord that all of his word I wish to hoard and keep it attached to me like a cord. Now to rescind the devil and resend God back into my soul, which was once alone. Now I praise him and talk to him like one of me homies so I never feel lonely because now my God is with me. A women name Haley, a temptation that drives me crazy, they can be entertaining and zany. Although I am only 14 years old I’d rather avoid the cold road. They fly at me left and right aiming for my sight when it only depends on my soul that's as deep as night. But not as dark because God is my light and makes my black part. The temptations come with bundles maybe two. When all together it all really sounds like ballyhoo. I get this all out of one speech and encounter these more than 20 times a week and that's where the problems start at my feet. Jess an angel from God along with many people is helping me survive because now I know I only have one life.

Mouse in the Cafe. (9/8)
Larry, the mouse, only two feet tall and lives in the whole on the wall. This mouse with no spouse was very fond of the frog in the pond. This pond was created by rain even though the water is dirty it's all the same. The last peer who's dad was a deer is the bear with really fuzzy hair. Although these animals were all different races with all different cases none of them really did care. The Frog's name is Freddy and the bear's name is Teddy and they were all ready to go help Larry find his wife to marry. They searched, looked, hopped, and never stopped until they find what they say might be Larry's wife. He told them to quit since he couldn't handle one more bit off all the things he did. He felt depressed about his spouse until one day there was a knock on his house. Larry skids across the floor in a rush to open the door and couldn't wait to see what was in store. He looked through the peek hole; a feeling touched his soul, as he saw the perfect mouse from head to toe. The door swung open, although full of love he did not show it because he wasn't that type of guy, then he just said hi. She was a stray, born in May, and she said she has no where to stay. Though she looked kind of scary I realized her types came rarely with the name of Fairy. Larry offered her a bed, a roof, and food. All she did was thank me, awkwardly, but at least she wasn't rude. There he stood as she slept, so confused so he wept. The perfect mouse named Fairy woke up, twitching her whiskers, asked Larry to be quieter in a whisper. Fairy noticed he was crying, asked him what’s wrong, then just stared at Larry for long. She told him that she can see it in his eyes, his feelings have all been lies, and he couldn’t admit them because he was too shy. Larry stopped crying, rubbed his red eyes, and then blew about three sighs. His exact quotes were “Since the moment I met you I loved you, and now that you know, would you marry me because I’d love to.” Teddy and Freddy were glad that Fairy and Larry were getting married due to love that is sincerely. The ceremony was in the cafeteria and Fairy fit Larry’s full criteria, both were hot like Liberia. As life went on it was very long, and Fairy and Larry died in their beds together listening to their wedding song.

"The Pedestrian" Center for Regressive Tendencies Paragraph (B)
I was escorted into this building with huge white letters that spelled out Center For Regressive Tendencies. As I walked in cuffed the clerk immediately stood up to escort myself to the waiting room. The first thing I think, God forgive me was not appropriate, but the second thing that popped up was I am in a mental hospital for walking. I chuckled as I thought about it, but then I realized this can be serious. I was introduced to this doctor who talked to me like I was five years old, so I explained to him what happened. I don't know what's wrong with these doctors and cops now, but hopefully I get out of this crazy place.

"The Pedestrian"
Ray Bradbury wrote the story "The Pedestrian" to emphasize the use of technology. I believe that when it broadly explained how everyone in the city was in their houses, watching T.V. or something it signified that people are to intact with technology and not with their social life. The only man that casually walked the streets was arrested and taken to the mental hospital because he was actually getting fresh air. Something now that seems normal can be totally modified if the use of technology is not balanced out with a beings social life. His story was meant to show what people will act like in 2053.

Life in 2053 Paragraph
In my late fifties and with all my money I will be very satisfied. I will drive my flying Mercedes a floating five-star restaurant with my beautiful wife. Then I will go home to my mansion and have my robot butler wrap my grand kids Homework Machine 2,000. I think they will love it since they have so much homework in Calculus in the fifth grade. I look outside my 14 bedroom home and all I see are flying cars, and luckily mine is one of the classiest. In 2053 I am living the good life with no worries, because my fashion line is going well, my wife is gorgeous, I live in a pretty nice house, I have a nice car, and my whole family is happy. That is what 2053 is going to look like.

"You want a social life, with friends" Poem Analysis
The theme that the two stories, "Contents of a Dead Man's Pocket" and "You Want a Social Life, with Friends", is a bit cliché though it's to live life to the fullest. Another theme is not to prioritize everything in life. The novels are the same because Tom only concentrated on his work and his paper, though he should have concentrated on his wife and his social life. In the poem Michelangelo also spent his time creating the famous ceiling, while he spent no time with his social life. That is how the themes and the stories are very similar.

Contents of a Dead Man's Pocket Plot Change
At the end of the book the man reopened the door, let wind in, and then laughed when the paper flew out the window again. The man went through a life and death experience trying to retrieve his yellow sheet of data. After all that he had been through just to laugh when his paper flies out the window the second time is an outrage. If I was that guy I would of looked out the window tracked down that paper and retrieve it once more. Even though there is a moral lesson in this story I would follow it after I retrieved that paper again. Then I would happily enjoy the rest of my evening with my beautiful wife.

School or Friends
I'm the type of person who enjoys having a social life, but I like to be serious about school. School is my main priority even though I like to procrastinate. I am very good in time management, which is why I procrastinate a lot. I will complete my homework no matter what, but since it's so important I will save my last bit of time to do it. I will hang out with my friends, because if it's possible, I don't see why not. So, if I had to study for a science test and a friend wanted to hang out, I would hang out with them. Then I would either wake up early to do it or stay up late. No matter what the case is it will be done.

Paralyzed By Fear
Ever since I was a little kid I hated bugs, spiders the most. I used to live with my sister and my brother in law when I was about three years old. Her boyfriend would always mess with me since he knew I didn't like spiders. So, when my sister was in the shower he found a dead spider and told me he had a friend to show me. H e said he slept next to his bed every night, and I would like him. So, as the naive child I was I walked over to see his "friend" and saw the dead spider. I froze for maybe 10 seconds, then ran. He chased me for a good ten minutes until my sister finally got out the shower and told him to stop. That was my terrifying moment.
8/20 Homework
This episode starts off with the main characters, Micheal and his brother. They have escaped from prison and had to go to Mexico to receive money. In order to do so they needed something from an official that worked at the prison the escaped from. They contacted this guy and he agreed to meet up with them. After, they were driving to the spot to meet up where two cop Cadillac cars pulled up next to them. The brothers were getting chased and were quick to escape from the cops hands once more. This episode's events created a whole plot in the exact order it should be.
