Primary and Secondary Sources Comparison
Primary and secondary sources have a couple things in common and a couple things that differ. First, they are alike by both being reliable, and giving information. Another would be they both speak of an event. They are different from each other because obviously, they both come from different sources. Primary sources come straight from the source. For example, a diary, interviews, letters, personal essays, editorials, speeches, oral histories, eyewitness news reports, literary works, public documents and an autobiography. A secondary source is different from a primary source by being told by the secondary source, or someone who was not exactly a participant at the event. For example, a biography, history books, textbooks, encyclopedias, reference books, magazine articles, newspaper articles, and literary lyricism. These sources are both helpful by both being accounted for information and information from many perspectives.
